ABOUT THE JOURNAL

 

Basic Information

Anales de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas, is the official journal of the School of Medicine of the Universidad Nacional de Asunción, FCM-UNA, in Asunción - Paraguay, published by the Editorial Board of the aforementioned School, EFACIM. Its primary purpose is the publication of findings included in scientific papers in the field of medicine and/or health sciences, in the form of high-quality scientific articles, that follow the methodology of scientific research and the concepts of ethics, providing scientific knowledge that contribute with the solution of community health problems. It is published quarterly in one volume per year. The journal accepts pre-published or pre-printed articles (preprint) on servers with this methodology.

The Editorial Board of the School of Medicine (EFACIM) was founded in 1984, originally to promote publication of medical texts, including books by authors of the School of Medicine, as well as the  Journal Anales de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas de la Universidad Nacional de Asunción.  Any collaboration or suggestions can be addressed to: ANALES de la Facultad de Ciencias Médicas.
