Población y Desarrollo is a peer review publication of academic, scientific and technical nature. It is published periodically twice yearly (January and June), with the objective of promoting the exchange of ideas, experiences and knowledge generation in the fields of Social Sciences. The journal accepts pre-published or pre-printed articles (preprint) on servers with this methodology.

The abbreviated title of the Journal is Poblac. Desarro., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

Content responsibility of the articles published is of exclusive competence of the article signatories and under no means will be attributed to the Editor o the Editorial Committee of the journal.
