Ethics, equity, and transparency are essential values in the teaching process, as well as during the learning process, independently of the modality of this process. In a global context in which the teaching modality is globally shifting from in-person to online, the question is show this shift affected higher education. To offer an answer to this question, we conducted an observational study using as the faculty members of the School of Veterinarian Sciences at the Universidad Nacional de Asunción as the sample population. Data collection was conducted using digital questionnaires, which contained closed-ended questions. Responses from faculty members from both sexes, different age ranges, and based in rural and urban areas were included on this study. The results within the ethics component of our study show that the majority of the faculty members are satisfied with the transition from in-person to online teaching. Within the equity results, we found diverse responses, and in the transparency component of our study the data shows that the faculty members were satisfied with the training in the use of virtual tools that they received.
