The general objective is to synthesize the reality of the scientific literature on the emotional salary model to improve work commitment in health organizations. A systematic review was carried out, using the PRISMA method in Scopus, Scielo, PubMed and Web of Science in 2024. 2266 articles have been obtained distributing in Scielo (1202), Scopus (444), Web of Science (335) and PubMed (285). Finally, 15 articles were available for review whose inclusion criteria were: key words (emotional salary, work commitment, health centers, emotional salary, work commitment and health center) using the connector and; information period between 2019 to 2023, accessibility to complete data, as well as the methodological and thematic characteristics identified after reviewing the summaries and contents of the articles. In the results, it is recognized that emotional salary is present in most organizations, according to 60% of the articles; while work commitment is acceptable in most organizations, according to 50% of the articles. It is concluded that emotional salary is closely related to work commitment in health organizations.
