Umbilical cord cysts can be diagnosed at various stages of gestation, this finding should guide a detailed ultrasound evaluation of the fetal anatomy to rule out structural abnormalities because an isolated finding may have a favorable neonatal outcome. These cysts can be classified as true or pseudocysts depending on the presence of epithelium in the interior. We report the case of an umbilical cord cyst as a single finding during the third trimester of pregnancy.
