Abstract
FERNANDEZ DE MINO, Sara Gladys. Teacher perceptions and practices of evaluation processes in virtual environments in degree programs. Rev. ciente. UCSA [online]. 2025, vol.12, n.2, pp.97-104. ISSN 2409-8752. https://doi.org/10.18004/ucsa/2409-8752/2025.012.02.097.
The objective of this study was to describe the pedagogical characteristics of the evaluation processes implemented in virtual subjects in the bachelor’s degree Courses at the National University of Villarrica del Espíritu Santo. Factors that characterize an evaluation in a virtual environment, evaluation teaching strategies, evaluation management and student monitoring were analyzed in depth. A multiple case study with a mixed approach was conducted. The evaluation characteristics of the bachelor’s degrees in education sciences and computer systems engineering were observed. The results show that the evaluations implemented are innovative and varied, but some limitations were identified regarding the clarity of the evaluation criteria and the frequency of individualized feedback. These findings suggest the need to strengthen teacher training in the design and implementation of evaluations in virtual environments.
