The objective of the research was to analyze whether motivation affects the productivity of the cashiers at Plaza Vea El Cortijo - Barranco 2022. Regarding the methodology, a non-experimental design was used, with a quantitative approach, with an explanatory-causal scope. The census-type sample, made up of 50 ATMs from Plaza Vea El Cortijo. With respect to data collection, the survey was used as a technique and the questionnaire as an instrument, which had 19 items. Regarding the data treatment in reference to the inferential environment, linear regression was applied to calculate if the model is adequate and has predictive capacity. For the general hypothesis, the R2 found was (0.688), indicating that the incidence is moderate, concluding that motivation significantly affects productivity, highlighting that communication, recognition and working conditions play a crucial role in the motivation of employees. the cashiers of the investigated entity and that in turn this condition has a significant impact on the productivity goals established by the store.
