Bullous diseases in elderly patients represent a diagnostic and therapeutic challenge, among which bullous pemphigoid should be considered one of the most prevalent. It is usually idiopathic, although there are some cases associated with the use of certain drugs routinely used in common pathologies such as diabetes mellitus and Parkinson's disease, as well as a historical relationship with certain neoplasms.
We present the case of an elderly patient diagnosed with bullous pemphigoid based on clinical findings confirmed by pathological anatomy, where pharmacological and neoplastic etiology was considered.
Palabras clave : bullous pemphigoid; vesicular-bullous skin diseases; drug eruptions.
