Livedo racemosa is a rare skin manifestation that may indicate exacerbations in autoimmune diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). We present the case of an 18-year-old female patient previously diagnosed with SLE who developed reticular purple skin lesions with ulcerated areas associated with an active flare-up of her disease. Early identification of livedo racemosa allowed for intensification of immunosuppressive treatment, resulting in a favorable outcome and highlighting the clinical relevance of this dermatological sign.
