As part of Paraguay's educational inclusion policy, the Ministry of Education and Science implements various educational tools and strategies, one of which is hospital pedagogy. This article is based on an analysis of the implementation of hospital pedagogy as an educational inclusion strategy in Paraguay, in light of the literature and current regulations. The sample consisted of laws, regulations, guidelines, and research conducted on hospital pedagogy in Paraguay from 2008 to 2025, using the technique of documentary analysis based on a literature review. Among the findings, it was found that hospital pedagogy in Paraguay has a legal basis; in addition, it has a structure and functions for the coordination and supervision of hospital classrooms, as well as criteria and procedures for the educational inclusion of hospitalized children and adolescents. It is a non-formal, flexible form of education adapted to the medical and educational situation of children and adolescents, applying teaching methods with diversified methodological strategies based on the MEC curriculum, the teaching guide for hospital classrooms, and other components of the service. It was concluded that, in general, Paraguay is at the forefront of the implementation of hospital pedagogy to guarantee the right to education of hospitalized children and adolescents by promoting their educational inclusion.
