Energy is essential to meet the great challenges and opportunities of Sustainable Development, the challenges in energy matters are located, including governance and efficiency of the energy sector, in the greater use of electricity in existing industries, the certification of biomass for energy purposes , the penetration of new energy sources such as solar, green hydrogen and biofuels based on a strategy on electromobility, among others, for a sustainable energy agenda, which must be considered as keys to the future through using strategic prospecting methodologies and the construction of possible scenarios that allow the determination of strategies, objectives and action plans that consolidate the energy sector from the management of relevant State policies, encouraging the participation of organizations, companies, and communities involved in this sector. This study presents a prospective application methodology to generate planning activities considering the energy matrix and the challenges of Sustainable Development Goals for Paraguay 2050.
