The objective of this research is to determine the demographic profile of students enrolled in the postgraduate programs offered in 2024 at the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Guaraní Culture of the National University of Itapúa. Data obtained from fieldwork are compared with other similar studies, revealing similarities in the results. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with a non-experimental, cross-sectional, descriptive design. The population consists of 208 students from the following programs: Pedagogical Training, Specialization in Methodology, Specialization in Mathematics, and Master's in Language Sciences. A sample of 106 students, selected using simple random sampling, is taken with a 95% confidence level and a 5% margin of error. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The most significant results show that 66% of the students are women, and their ages fall roughly into two ranges: 32-40 and 41-50 years old. Regarding their fields of study, the vast majority (81%) are graduates of undergraduate programs in Humanities, Philosophy, etc., followed by Health Sciences (10%), Economics and Business Administration (5%), and other fields (4%). In terms of continuing education, 43% are pursuing their first postgraduate degree, while 35% have previously completed a Master's degree.
