In an increasingly digital and interconnected world, the intersection of artificial intelligence (AI) and fundamental rights poses crucial challenges and opportunities. We address the need to protect privacy in a context of massive data collection, as well as the importance of mitigating algorithmic bias to ensure fairness in AI. The need for strong regulation and ethical standards is emphasized, along with international coordination to address global AI challenges. Fundamental rights impact assessments and public participation are essential tools, as is the protection of human dignity and clarity in legal responsibility within the context of AI. This work underscores the importance of balancing technological innovation with the protection of fundamental rights and advocates for an ethical approach to harness the potential of AI responsibly and build a future where technology and human rights coexist harmoniously.
