The linguistic and cultural adaptation of the Overall Anxiety and Impairment Scale (OASIS) and the Overall Depression and Impairment Scale (ODSIS) in its online version was carried out, through translation, back translation and review by the panel of experts, which was composed of 3 local English teachers. The analysis of its psychometric properties was carried out in a sample of 365 students from the National University of Asunción, of which 275 students were from the psychology major and 90 students from the communication sciences major; 69.3% were female and 30.7% were male; average age 23 years, in an age range of 17 to 57 years, S.D. 7.07. The comprehension test was carried out on 22 medical students. Reliability analysis, exploratory factor analysis and descriptive statistics were carried out. The results for both instruments were adequate internal consistency, coherent construct validity, and a unidimensional factor structure. In conclusion, the use of the instruments in the Paraguayan population is suggested.
