The aim of this study was to investigate the perceptions of university students about their lifestyle habits. The present investigation was a cross-sectional, descriptive and non-probabilistic study performed on 99 students of Mechanical Engineering from Curitiba, Brazil. The results indicated that 56.3% of students self-assessed their lifestyle habits as close to positive life habits while 66% showed positive indicators of healthy habits contributing to their health care. The nutrition variable was reported by 57.1% as the first component of choice in case they needed a change of lifestyle.
