Sin embargo, este crecimiento no ha logrado revertir unos niveles de pobreza superiores al 25 por ciento y una persistente desigualdad en la distribución del ingreso. Esto obliga a repensar el crecimiento económico a partir de nuevos indicadores que incorporen elementos cualitativos.]]></p></abstract>
<abstract abstract-type="short" xml:lang="en"><p><![CDATA[ABSTRACT In recent years, Paraguay has experienced economic growth rates that were among the highest in the region. However, this growth has not managed to reverse poverty levels above 25 percent and persistent inequality in the distribution of income. This forces us to rethink economic growth based on new indicators that incorporate qualitative elements.]]></p></abstract>
