Another year is ending and our Paraguayan Surgery magazine is in the height of progression, achieving a greater

frequency of publication, and a greater number of scientific articles written.

Also, through the management of the Board of Directors, we managed to index our magazine to the Google Scholar search engine, and at the same time we are about to be linked to other virtual libraries. This is all to show to the scientific community what Paraguayan surgeons do in our daily practice; updated procedures and with results comparable to the world literature.

There is of course still much to improve, but the important thing is that we are on the right track, determined to leave our esteemed magazine in a high position.

In 2018, as part of the continuing medical education program, we plan to offer our partners and resident doctors

a writing course for scientific articles, a fundamental stone that we must promote among all, always aiming at professional excellence.

It only remains for me to thank each one of you, who made all this possible through the numerous articles sent during the year and the trust placed in our work.
