Apreciados colegas:

En poco tiempo más estaremos realizando el IX Congreso Paraguayo de Coloproctología, específicamente durante los días 18, 19 y 20 de setiembre deeste año, en el Hotel Excélsior, de nuestra capital.

La Sociedad Paraguaya de Coloproctología (S.P.C.P.) en este tiempo se ha abocado a la organización del mismo para lo cual ha nombrado al connotado colega, Dr. Pedro Ruiz Díaz, como presidente del mismo. Profundizar en sus méritos y cualidades sería redundancia, y tanto él como los varios colegas que conforman el Comité Organizador están poniendo lo mejor de sí para el éxito del evento.

Se ha invitado a colegas de EE.UU, Brasil, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia y Chile, reconocidos por su vasta experiencia en la especialidad, que sumado a los profesionales nacionales sin duda darán realce y calidad, garantizando un alto nivel didáctico, científico y académico al congreso.

Los ejes temático escogidos, de notable actualidad, son el cáncer de colon y recto, el trauma colorectal, el suelo pélvico y la cirugía de mínima invasión, que creemos llenarán vuestras expectativas.

Los temas, como verán, si bien son de la especialidad, también son parte del día a día de los cirujanos generales, por lo cual, desde ya, a más de invitar a participar activamente a los miembros de la S.P.C.P., también contamos con la distinguida presencia de todos ustedes, no sólo a participar del congreso, sino además, a interrelacionarse, y por qué no decirlo, encontrar a varios amigos y compartir con ellos.

Esperando verlos a todos en setiembre próximo, me despido con el respeto y la estima de siempre.

Dear colleagues:

In a short time we will be conducting the IX Paraguayan Congress of Coloproctology, specifically during the 18th, 19th and 20th of September this year, at the Hotel Excelsior, our capital.

The Paraguayan Society of Coloproctology (S.P.C.P.) in this time has focused on its organization for which appointed the notorious colleague, Dr. Pedro Ruiz Diaz as chairman. Deepen their merits and qualities would be redundant, and he and several colleagues to form the Organizing Committee are putting their best for the success of the event.

It has invited colleagues from the U.S., Brazil, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia and Chile, known for their vast experience in the field, which added to the national professional will certainly enhance and quality, ensuring a high level educational, scientific and academic congress.

The chosen thematic axes of remarkable topicality, are colorectal cancer, colorectal trauma, pelvic floor and minimally invasive surgery, which we will fill your expectations.

The issues, as you will see, if they are of the specialty, are also part of everyday general surgeons, so, of course, to invite more actively involve members of the SPCP, we also have the distinguished presence of all of you, not only to participate in the conference, but also to interact, and why not say, find some friends and share with them.
