Resumo

The objective is to know the perception of university professors about interdisciplinarity as a teaching-learning strategy. A mixed, cross-sectional and descriptive approach was chosen. The population was made up of 24 undergraduate university professors of 3 business careers from a private university in Paraguay. The data collection was through a questionnaire made up of 15 questions (open and closed) via Google Form, for convenience in 2022. The inclusion criteria were active teachers belonging to some of the three careers of the university with voluntary and free participation. virtual. The results were: everyone could define the term interdisciplinarity and the most frequent phrases were: interconnection between disciplines and collaborative work; 22 teachers never carried out an interdisciplinary activity; 11 stated that they did not find any obstacle to implement interdisciplinarity, although factors such as Peer work (7), Planning (6) and working in a specific line (5) would have to be analyzed. It is concluded that interdisciplinarity is an approach that is accepted by the teaching staff and the training becomes necessary, as well as a design from the area coordination to regulate the previous strategies with the teachers and structure with them the planning of the activities.
