FERRER-DAVALOS, Raúl Marcelo. Adoption and impact of ICT in the management of microenterprises. Rev. cient. cienc. soc. [online]. 2021, vol.3, n.1, pp.49-68. ISSN 2708-0412. https://doi.org/10.53732/rccsociales/03.01.2021.49.
The aim of this article is to analyze the factors that influence the adoption of ICTs and the impact they have on the management of microenterprises. To achieve this aim, a review of specialized literature was carried out, with the selection of three categories of analysis and eleven related sub-categories. It was possible to identify that, in general, microenterprises seek to maintain competitiveness by reducing costs instead of increasing added value. This is why they are usually not willing to significant investment in the adoption and implementation of ICTs. The development of micro, small and medium enterprises generate an important boost in the economy of countries. ICT implementation, as well as their significant influence of these in different labor processes, produces companies that have much more efficient performance.
