The research identifies the main post-COVID-19 travel plans in Paraguay. A quantitative, transectional and descriptive approach was used. A convenience sample of 384 participants was included. The data collection was carried out through surveys provided via WhatsApp to 6 contact groups, where 109 participants (28%) were tourism students from two private universities in Asunción, 257 participants (67%) teachers from three private universities in Asunción and 18 relatives of the author (5%). The respondents have a medium and medium-high socio-economic level, who make trips to the interior-exterior of the country. As an instrument, a semi-structured questionnaire of 10 questions was used. The only inclusion criterion was willing to participate in the survey voluntarily. The exclusion criteria: having answered that they would not travel (5.2%) and not correctly following the instructions to answer the questions (9%). Results: 56% expressed interest in international travel, 24.9% to the Caribbean, 23.4% to Europe. Inland: Chaco 27.9%, Paraguarí 26.4% and Itapúa 23.7%. Motivated by sun and beach tourist trips, 36.7% preferring to travel with friends and 33% with family. Conclusion: there are great challenges in developing tourist offers in the country, and strategies must be sought to increase the demand for travel, adjusting to the required sanitary protocols.
