This research studied the relationship between Emotional Dependence and Cognitive Distortions in women victims of intimate partner violence. It is a quantitative study of correlational scope. We worked with an intentional sample of 42 women aged between 18 and 54 years victims of Domestic Violence who attend public institutions that provide legal and psychological assistance to them. The Emotional Dependency Questionnaire and the Inventory of Automatic Thoughts were used. The data analysis was done with the SPSS 20 statistical program.
