Resumen

ARAUJO, Victor et al. Effect of nitrogen fractionation on the agronomic characteristics of wheat. Rev. Soc. cient. Parag. [online]. 2020, vol.25, n.1, pp.41-48. ISSN 2617-4731.  https://doi.org/10.32480/rscp.2020-25-1.41-48.

Nitrogen is a very mobile element in the soil, so it requires fractional application at different times of wheat growth for its best performance. This work was carried out with the aim of evaluating the effect of different times of application of urea in cultivation of wheat. The experiment was installed in the Yjhovy Experimental Field (IPTA) whose coordinates (24 ° 16 '26 "S and 55 ° 01' 02" W). The design was the complete random block design with 5 treatments and 5 blocks, totaling 25 experimental units, the treatments consisted of the fractional application of urea at planting time (MS), 30 days after planting (30 DDS) and 60 days after sowing (60DDS), leaving the treatments as follows: T1 (Control), T2 (200kg ha-1 of N in MS), T3 (100kg ha-1 of N in MS and 100kg ha-1 at 60DDS ), T4 (100kg ha-1 of N at 30DDS and 100kg ha-1 of N at 60DDS), T5 (66.66kg ha-1 of N in MS, 66.66kg ha-1 at 30DDS and 66.66kg ha- 1 60DDS). The evaluated variables were; plant height, number of ears, length of ear, weight of 1000 grains, yields and hectoliter weight. The data were submitted to ANAVA and the 5% Tukey test. The treatments had a significant effect on all the variables studied, and maximum fertilizer efficiency was obtained with the T5 treatment, which expressed the best mean value for all the variables analyzed.

Palabras clave : wheat; fractionation; fertilization; urea; nitrogen.
