University students show diverse attitudes towards research and statistics, influenced by previous experiences and academic expectations. In this context, the statistical software Jamovi can simplify data analysis. The objective was to determine the relationship between attitudes towards research and the use of Jamovi. The study design was non-experimental, correlational and cross-sectional. 120 students from the Clinical Psychology program participated, with a mean age of 22.8. The first instrument used was the Attitudes towards Research Scale made up of 28 items and the second questionnaire on the use of the Jamovi software designed ad hoc. The results indicate a slight positive relationship between the study variables (rho=0.188*). In addition, it can be evidenced that there is a significant difference between semesters and the use of Jamovi (p=0.09), mainly in the fourth, seventh and eighth semester students with the highest mean scores compared to the others. Students with positive research attitudes see Jamovi as a valuable tool that streamlines the process, allowing them to focus on the interpretation of results. Integrating Jamovi into undergraduate education strengthens essential methodological and statistical skills for health professionals.
