Abstract

GUZMAN, Camila Jiménez; ALVAREZ, José Darío  and  TULCAN, Omar. The Casanare pact and the Carimagua case. A multilevel reading within pork-barrel and coloniality of power. Acad. (Asunción) [online]. 2021, vol.8, n.2, pp.101-108. ISSN 2414-8938.  https://doi.org/10.30545/academo.2021.jul-dic.9.

This article aims to analyze the coloniality of power as the central axis of power relations marked in the first decade of the 21st century in Colombia, more specifically studying the cases of political clientelism in peripheral areas such as Casanare, and the Carimagua case. To develop this research, a documentary analysis will be carried out, taking as reference some authors of Latin American political philosophy such as Anibal Quijano and Santiago Castro-Gómez who in turn rely on Michel Foucault to define the concept of power relations. As well as Fernan's González proposal around the need for a multiscalar analysis of power and violence, in order to present an alternative to the traditional analysis of power relations in Colombia.

Keywords : Coloniality of power; relations of power; Carimagua; clientelism; multiscalar reading.
