Speaking of feminicides in these years, brings with it the obligation to see beyond a police issue or the murder of a woman, since, in addition to crime, feminicides must be addressed as a social problem, which implies aspects of gender inequality, inequality, discrimination and stereotypes. This article seeks to reflect on the way in which the preconceived and stereotyped beliefs of women in Mexico can create expressions of guilt for victims of femicide. To develop this text, a theoretical approach to the root of these beliefs is made first, to subsequently make an analysis of their implications in a specific case, from the media approach and from a sample of parents. In conclusion, it is shown that the victims suffer not only from the humiliation and murder committed by the murderer, but also by the stereotyped judgments of the society that surrounds them.
