GONZALEZ, Hugo Arsenio; DELGADO SALINAS, Cynthia Soledad and SOUBERBIELLE ACOSTA, Nicole. (Asunción) [online]. 2020, vol.7, n.1, pp.82-88. ISSN 2414-8938. https://doi.org/10.30545/academo.2020.ene-jun.8.
This research had as main objective the cultural adaptation, the analysis of the discriminant validation and the reliability of the Argentine Adaptation of the Abbreviated Rage Scale in Driving (DAS). It is an instrumental, quantitative and transactional study. First, the linguistic adaptation of the articles was carried out, through content analysis and interviews with 15 drivers residing in Asunción, Paraguay. Subsequently, to determine the discriminative capacity of the adapted version, a pilot test was conducted with a sample of 15 drivers who reported driving with traffic and another 15 people who have no traffic. The final sample, selected in a non-probabilistic way, was composed of 397 drivers who reside and drive on the streets of the city of Asunción, Paraguay. Good discrimination is reported between the two samples of the pilot test and Alfas coefficients greater than 0.70. It is concluded that the adapted version of the exam meets the conditions to be used in research with the Paraguayan population.
