Digital competence is of great importance in the European framework for education, given the recommendations made by the European Parliament as a fundamental factor in lifelong learning. This fact requires teachers with a consolidated base in said competence, in order to transmit it to their students, and with this, comply with the recommendations given. The purpose of this research is to understand the influence of the age of digital competence, in the area of information and information literacy, of students in the Master of Teaching in Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching in Ceuta, Spain. The research was carried out by means of a quantitative method, with a descriptive and correlative scope, of non-experimental design, of a longitudinal paradigm. The sample is 153 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire based on the Common Framework of Teaching Digital Competence of 2017. The results show that age is an influential element.
