A vast part of the contemporary society it questions the effective possibility of “change the world” in the liberal logic of political participation. Appear then, many new ways of mobilization, which go beyond the traditional representation and, being located in the “agonist” or outskirts of “the political”, they demand alternative spaces of participation beyond of the parties. In that context, this article shows some keys to think of the actual criticisms of the liberal representative democracy and his signs and possibilities in Paraguay, from the categorical notions of Jacques Rancière and Benjamín Arditi and the proposal of a radical democracy in the age of post-truth from the “agonist” notion of politics by Chantal Mouffe.
