The present work, essentially historical, was carried out within the framework of a qualitative approach, through the inductive method and descriptive - explanatory study, applied to reconstruct the national historical landscape, corresponding, in this case, to the ideological matrix Of Paraguayan Nationalism in the period 1936-1989. Part of the Theory of historical causality, it aims to explain and understand historical events. This was done through bibliographical research (books, journals, articles, periodicals and government decrees) from the primary and secondary sources, and the interpretation of them, which allowed an understanding of the historical process lived in the Country between 1936-1989 and the repercussions they have until now.
