Abstract

CABALLERO MERLO, Javier Numan. Scientific community in social sciences and the validity of the “ ore ” as technology. Acad. (Asunción) [online]. 2018, vol.5, n.1, pp.81-88. ISSN 2414-8938.  https://doi.org/10.30545/academo.2018.ene-jun.9.

In this article the object of study problematizes how the production in sociology and its development are affected by a specific form of exclusive relation between intellectual peers researchers, and also professors trained in the area, as well as among the universities and independent academic centers (CAI) of which they are part of. Exclusion of the “ore” type and practice of the orekuete (only and exclusive us, in guaraní language) that are defined in a single and exclusively us, establishing mechanisms of blockade, discrimination, expression of certain relations of knowledge power and stance in the field according to the dispute and possession for symbolic and non-symbolic goods. The results denote that this particular form of relationship or practice of the orekuete becomes in a technology of knowledge power that delineates the type of communication and exchange among, and of its products, that personally and institutionally produce knowledge in social sciences. To summarize, it is set out that this practice, as a technology of power in action, also produces a particular type of scientific community, where the knowledge that is produced is partial, self-sufficient, without integrating recognizing the other in terms of production and contributions, in a horizontal dialogue, especially considering the colleagues and independent academic centers of the local scope, but also of the university one.

Keywords : Sociology; development; scientific community; orekuete.
