This article aims to determine the existence of appropriate tourist attractions in the city of Luque, which makes it posible to generate a markettable tourist destination at a national and a international level, promoting the use of these as a tourism product. The methodology used in the study design is the non-experimental, descriptive type with a quantitative approach. The technique of data collection used for this purpose was the observation and as instruments the inventory of Tourist Attractions. This instrument was of vital importance to demonstrate the existence and register the qualities of the existing attractions in Luque. The inventory provided information about the actual situation in which the Tourist Attractions of the city are. The investigation revealed the existence of AATT in the city of Luque. These attractions have categories and hierarchies suitable for the creation of cultural tourism products marketable at national level and of great significance for international demand, also allowed to know the conditions in which they are currently in terms of conservation and services available to the tourist and the almost no- existent signaling of them. The research also showed the lack of data collection tools to inventory the attractions; as well as the lack of action by of action by the Municipal and Departmental Government, aimed at making appropriate policies that contribute to the conservation, maintenance, value and rescue of the city´s own culture.
