Abstract

The present study describes the characteristics of the implementation of the Methodology of Scientific Research with the acquisition of significant learning in the students of the Specific Plan of the Scientific Baccalaureate in Basic Sciences and its Technologies of the Middle Level. The research is descriptive, not experimental, with a mixed approach. The most important results revealed are; teachers' access to training and their interest in the results of excellence obtained in their role; the difficulties in the implementation are varied but they do not hinder to realize benefits such as the achievement of significant learning in the students and; methodological strategies applied according to the reality of the course and the institution, with emphasis on conceptual research groups. It is concluded that teachers access training demonstrating interest, despite the difficulties inherent to the environment, the result is the achievement of significant learning, through group methodological strategies promoted by the teacher.
