Background: IgA vasculitis is a non-granulomatous small-vessel vasculits of unknown etiology, Infections have been associated with disease onset, however studies have not been conclusive in this regard. The current pandemic caused by Type 2 severe acute respiratory syndrome virus has shown to have significant clinical heterogeneity. Systemic vasculitis such as IgA vascuitis may be a manisfestation of SARsCOV2. Few cases of this association have been reported, mainly in the pediatric population. Case report: We report the case of a 6-year-old pediatric patient who came to the emergency department for purpuric dermatosis, joint pain, fever and evidence systemic inflammation by laboratory. PCR was positive for SARS COV-2. Conclusion. The previous case represents a rare clinical manifestation associated with SARS COV-2. More studies are required to understand the interaction of this virus with the immune pathways that can trigger the development of IgA-associated vasculitis.
