Abstract

LOPEZ ORTELLADO, Nilda  and  CRUZ ORTEGA, Frank. Social, technological, organizational conditions and business productivity in parts manufacturing. Rev. ciente. UCSA [online]. 2023, vol.10, n.3, pp.146-155. ISSN 2409-8752.  https://doi.org/10.18004/ucsa/2409-8752/2023.010.03.146.

In this research, an analysis of the influences of social, technological and organizational conditions in a production process of an industrial plant that produces spare parts for industries, located in the city of San Lorenzo in Paraguay, was carried out. In order to collect and analyze the relevant data, a mixed methodology combining different types of analysis was used for the development of the research. Specifically, a sequential exploratory design was used, which allowed a detailed and complete vision of the factors involved to be obtained. To gather information, surveys, interviews and secondary data analysis were conducted. In addition, technical evaluations were carried out in order to obtain a deeper understanding of the production processes in the industrial plant dedicated to the production of parts. All data collection instruments were validated through pilot tests, which guaranteed the quality and reliability of the results obtained. From the data collected and analyzed, the elements and factors that had a significant impact on the productivity levels of the industrial plant were identified. These findings provided a solid basis for proposing optimization strategies at both the production and organizational levels. Specific proposals were developed that would enable the industry to adapt effectively to the prevailing industrial conditions in Paraguay.
