The present study: Scientific production of the Research Groups of the Polytechnic Faculty-National University of Asunción aimed to identify the scientific production of the Research Groups, in order to know and make known the products that are generated in terms of knowledge from the academy, among which are: research projects, publication of articles in peer-reviewed journals, presentation of papers at events, publication of books, book chapters, undergraduate and postgraduate theses, organization of dissemination events. The study was observational, with a quantitative approach, descriptive design. For data collection, the Internet Portal of the Polytechnic Faculty and the survey technique were used, with a questionnaire applied to the coordinators of the groups. The population under study was represented by the 14 Research Groups of the FP-UNA and the sample was made up of 11 groups, which agreed to answer the questionnaire. Among the main results, it is mentioned that the range of six to ten projects was the most frequent in terms of executed projects, during the analysis period (2007-2021), of which approximately 650 scientific productions were obtained. Most of the groups have more article publications and paper presentations at the international level than at the national level. Groups have more paper submissions than article postings. Book publishing is minimal. As a means of disseminating results, the organization of seminars was predominant.
