ENRIQUEZ-MAMANI, Vitaliano et al. Spatial analysis in the identification of COVID-19 risk areas as a tool for public management in Juliaca, Perú. Rev. ciente. UCSA [online]. 2021, vol.8, n.2, pp.30-38. ISSN 2409-8752. https://doi.org/10.18004/ucsa/2409-8752/2021.008.02.030.
COVID-19 has become the main problem facing the government. In this scenario, geographic information systems through thematic zone maps can be tools for decision-making in municipal public management. The purpose is to identify areas at risk of COVID-19 infection, through the use of spatial data as a tool for public management in the city of Juliaca. In the first stage the coordinates of the banking equipment have been located and classified into 5 types, the second stage develops the spatial analysis through the density of Kernel to obtain the partial maps, in the third stage the partial maps are added through the map algebra and reclassified into the values of high, high-moderate, moderate, low-moderate and low risk of contagion. The red area catalogued as high risk of infection COVID-19 has an area of 74042.89 m2 which represents 3% of the study area covering 8 blocks around this due to the large accumulation of banking equipment in the center of the city that caused inequality with other sectors of the city of Juliaca.
