The purpose of this research was to evaluate the effect of a leadership training program on the self - esteem of university students in 2015. The study corresponds to the quantitative approach with quasi - experimental design with pre - post measure. The study population consisted of 180 students enrolled in the program, and the final sample consisted of 69 students, who completed and completed the training. The Stanley Coopersmith Self-Esteem Inventory (SEI) was used for the data collection (Brinkmann & Segure, 1989). The analysis of the data was made through the SPSS 11.0 Program. The results report a significant increase in social self-esteem, academic / work self-esteem; Home self-esteem and general self-esteem in students considering the measures used before and after the training received.
