Abstract

This research paper describe and analyses a teaching unit of the Portuguese Teaching Foreign Language Portal (PPPLE) using with students of a Tourism Management College, in Asuncion, Paraguay. That propose start with the needs of teachers that confronted remains limited in his professional practice, for not have so much variety of course books for the portuguese foreign language and less for the portuguese teaching with the specific purposes that satisfy the needs and expectations of the students. The object of this article is describe and analyses one teaching unit of PPPLE, describe the experience of selection and development of this material with the students. Methodologically was conducted a descriptive research, qualitative based in a case study that started in a particular phenomenon, considering his context and different dimensions. First of all, was described the selection of the PPPLE teaching units, process based in the student's needs and expectations. Then, was analyzed one of the teaching units with a specialized analysis sheets, considering communication, linguistic and cultural contents. Finally, was demonstrated how this teaching units was developed with the students, emphasizing the main modifications conducted for the teachers.
