Since declaration of Guarani as an official language (1992) and implementation of bilingual education in the Paraguayan educational system, there has been a marked increase in the production of Guarani-Spanish/Spanish-Guarani bilingual dictionaries; however, to date it has not inquired into them. We examined five bilingual dictionaries, published in the decade from 2000 to 2014 and analyzed from the metalexicography, we explore the superstructure, macro and microstructure of these. We neither note that nor sources, nor type of materials collected nor the recipient is not indicated; also the use of an outdated methodology that does not allow a complete and current view of language use.
