Abstract

MAMADE TOURE, B et al. Research tools to increase the impact of science in the chemical industry. Rev. ciente. UCSA [online]. 2017, vol.4, n.2, pp.67-77. ISSN 2409-8752.  https://doi.org/10.18004/ucsa/2409-8752/2017.004(02)067-077.

In this paper, the possibilities and needs of the different tools for scientific research in the chemical industry are defined, starting from the traditionally used analogies between impulse, heat and mass transferences and their dimensionless groups and emphasizing the methods of Experimental statistical planning for the kinetics of reactions and regions of optimal behavior and the possibilities that the mathematical modeling provides to determine information on the real transport phenomena and the possibilities of scaling of facilities of the chemical industry. The need for adequate experimental support for the decision-making proposal is reinforced and as modern cybernetic methods can more quickly meet the demands of the industry. It emphasizes the formative meaning that as instruments of work for the professional future has the incorporation of these methods in the formative work of the students. Finally conclusions are drawn.
