Cooperation, collaboration and the exchange of scientific information allow the generation and transfer of knowledge, which in turn facilitates the economic development of a country, a region. The more scientific collaboration there is, the more possibilities there are for new potential knowledge to take advantage of the results of international collaboration. This paper aims to analyze the collaboration pattern of the National University of Asuncion with different countries from America, Asia and Europe. The study period took 30 years, from 1985 to 2015. Data were obtained from the Web of Science (WoS). On the basis of the analysis, significant data are observed regarding the collaboration of the National University of Asuncion (UNA) with countries from different continents.
