Abstract

The article proposes that the question of the meaning of life is often considered the most profound question of philosophy. In this context the philosophical approach of Viktor Frankl is inserted, whose exceptional anthropological thought, revalues the spiritual dimension and applies it to human existence. He holds the transcendence of the person and sees it as source and end of true values. Hence the meaning of life is realized in transcendence, discovering and realizing values. He claims that life remains with sense of absolute and unconditional way. So, also suggests some signs or clues to perform the transcendent sense of it. This is because it is more and more palpable a thirsty and urgency of finding a true meaning of life. This sense is presented basically according to three values, such as: work, love and suffering. Of all of these, love is the ultimate goal and the highest that human can aspire. True love is the only meaning able to give life and life abundantly.
