The purpose of this work was to create anapplication for the Android operating system for business cards with augmented reality. For this purpose Vuforia was chosen as Augmented Reality service provider tool. The required programs in developing an application for the Android operating system were download and installed. A developer account was created on the Vuforiasite and was accessed the image recognition service online. The business cards were collected and recorded in the Vuforia database referred for recognition. The files corresponding to each card with the same information and an associated video were loaded on a server. We proceeded to the development of the application and found that the same, when scanning cards, recognized them andretrieved the information from the server and reproduced thereon the associated video. In this way it was possible to create a business card with augmented reality offering elegant and spacious space to add information to the cards, easy and error-free access to existing information and the ability to preserve information by saving a copy in a digital medium such as contacts database.
