Objective variables were measured using the erythrocyte sedimentation value and the number of swollen joints, as well as subjective variables such as the number of painful joints and the overall health assessment estimated by the patient.
Results:
The age ranged from 19 to 74 years with a mean of 49 ± 13 years, 81% were female and 56% were engaged in domestic tasks. The activity level was moderate in 45% and 31% presented remission.
