Leukemia is a neoplastic proliferation of progenitor cells of hematopoietic tissue origin and the infiltration of the neoplastic process into the skin is known as leukemia cutis.
We present the case of a 60-year-old woman with a three-week history of the appearance of erythematous-violet papules and plaques, initially treated as an allergic condition. Her final diagnosis was leukemia cutis secondary to acute myeloid leukemia, presenting a torpid clinical course.
