We present the clinical case of a young woman in the puerperium period, without previous comorbidities, from Piñas, El Oro. She was admitted to the Critical Medicine Service of the Hospital Luis Vernaza for presenting septic shock due to soft tissue infection, with 7-day evolution period. She presented erythematous lesions of defined borders with the presence of phlyctenas distributed in the right upper limb and both lower limbs, occupying a total of 33% of the body surface.
