Introduction:

The method of clinical case based-learning is used in the teaching-learning process in medical training preferably during the clinical cycle

Objective:

To determine the attitude of students attending Medical Clinic towards the method of clinical cases based-learning.

Methodology:

Observational, descriptive, retrospective, non-probabilistic, study with analytical component. A self-administered Likert-type questionnaire was used.

Results:

One hundred and thirty eight subjects studied between 2013 and 2016, of which 130 were included in the study, 59.23% being female, the mean age was 23.96 years (range 22-29 years), and 63.8% came from Coronel Oviedo. The attitude of the students was positive but with difficulties in high percentage, thinking that the method helps to consolidate knowledge.

Conclusion:

The attitude expressed by the study participants describes the usefulness of method of clinical case based-learning.
