We present the case of a 41-year old asthmatic woman that was admitted to the Urgency Service with a history of respiratory difficulty and cough. At the clinical exam, dullness of the right hemithorax was found. Blood analytics was within normal parameters. Chest X-ray and thorax tomography showed a large 20 x 20 cm tumor in the right hemithorax with mass effect. The patient was subjected to exploratory thoracotomy with full extirpation of the tumor with a good post-operatory evolution. The pathologic anatomy confirmed a fusocellular tumour.
