MUNOZ, Daniel et al. Single port laparoscopic gastrostomy in a public hospital. Cir. parag. [online]. 2021, vol.45, n.3, pp.42-44. ISSN 2307-0420.

A gastrostomy is defined as a fistula created between the stomach lumen and the anterior abdominal wall with the aim of gaining access to the gastric lumen from the outside. A single-port laparoscopic gastrostomy was made according to the technique proposed by Mariano Palermo MD and his group, with some variations. Our patient allowed us to verify all the benefits described for the technique.
